Mostly I love doing Book Reviews for Blogadda. But this time it was something different and unique. It was time for Restaurant Review. (Refer the pic on the left)
The good people from the blogging adda sent me 2 vouchers to have FOOD and FUN with my loved one at a happening place known as The V-spot cafe+bar.
After the first treat, its time for words to flow. 😉 🙂
V (Me and my hubby) are big foodies and thus we love to explore eating joints. No wonder we went ahead to make the most of this treat and I am sure hubby was happy about having a blogger wifey.
Give it a shot @ The V-spot Cafe + Bar
Date of Visit- 2nd December, Sunday became a Fun-day. Thanks to V !
Location- Gurgaon, at Cross Point Mall, opposite Galleria Market
We do not know much about Gurgaon except the DLF buildings. Thus locating the Cross Point Mall was a little difficult. A genuine suggestion- V-Spot should be made more VISIBLE for people who are not from Gurgaon.
Its rightly said ‘where there is a will, there is a way’. Once we found the way up, we were cheerful and obviously hungry again.
First Impression— Its all about V. Very Youthful in looks and charms. I loved the creativity at every nook and corner. Decor and designs were both experimental and attractive and Grand V at the door was truly thematic.
Walk-through– No doubt, there is definitely something different about the place. I liked it brimming with the channel V themes and effects. An entertainment package along with fun and food is the USP. Tully-vision grabbed my attention (attractive bottles having all types of drinks shined well in the shelves which resembled television-types) and Gaming and Karaoke Nights are the latest hit. Kudos to the creative team.
Music and the Moods colored the Ambience—
Tunes and Music set the mood and the flow. The catchy numbers played all the while and had their own good effect. If you are in a mood to talk, you need to sit close-by, mind it the seats are huge and comfortable.
The Menu and Table Effect– I loved the Wonderful play of words and the customized names were WOW. Everything to be served on the platter was perfectly enticing. It was Very difficult to make choices from the handsome and Vivacious menu.
The table set-up was funny and sweet. It had fun talks and few delightful notes on what to comment on Facebook, How to say no to your boyfriend and what are the ways to hit on the guy you like. In fact the napkin too had ways of using it and each corner had a message for its use.
Power of words was skillfully played with all around!!!
BEVERAGES— Shooters/Coolers/Martinis+Margaritas/Caffeine’s/ Classics/Virgins/ Smoothies+Shakes/Healthy Wealthy/ Coffee/ Energy Drinks/Wines and Spirits
FOOD— Soups, Salads, Starters and Nibbles, Main course, Burgers, Sandwiches and Wraps, Back to Canteen, Pizza, Desserts
Virgins, Paanigraphy and Tapori’s fix were our beverages for the evening. (The pic above shows them)
They were real thirst quenchers and absolutely perfect. The Best I have had.
The Snack Harem as Starters — it was a scintillating combination of our favorite Lebanese snacks. I loved it all on the platter. The hommas was too gud.
Main Course comprised of La La Lasagna for my vegetarian hubby and From Russia with love (Non-Veg) for myself.
La La Lasagna could have had some more vegetables but it was enough cheesy. From Russia with love was yum!!
Start Off Guys!! The drinks and the starters were awesome. Every sip and the bite had a flavor to savor.
Finally the Food– Yummy and cheesy!! The food was no less than its name.
Spot On!!— The treat had been completely refreshing and satisfying. The food was sumptuous and slurping. We carried home the dynamism and the creative vibes of a good and happening place. A next time was definitely on the cards…. 😉 Wish it was not so far from Faridabad.
Happy Eating and Enjoying!!!
