Laughter over the Luncheon
We all got a signed copy 🙂 I am a keen listener too. The Celebrity feeling!!!

VENUE: CHOPSTICKS, DELHI

DATE: 24th March 2013

I am sure the pictures above have already given much of the story, but let me say a little more about the eventful Sunday afternoon. Author Mr. S.V. Divvaakar and Creativa India, invited bloggers cum bibliophiles for a special lunch and an informal interactive session to talk about the author’s latest book. But it turned out to be more than that.   🙂

The informal gather of 7 bloggers roared with fun, food and laughter. The conversations over the glasses of wine/mojito were warm and lovely. Mr. Divaakar made us feel very comfortable and he did not shy away from accepting the fact that his generation did not  experiment much like today’s generation.  He also appreciated us for doing the good work of writing our blogs and putting up honest book-reviews. The couple keenly listened to us, chatted in a friendly manner, shared funny anecdotes, discussed our blogs, etc.  On top of it, we were privileged to hear some real stories about the making of the book as well. I had enough talks with his lovely wifey Bhanu as well since we were seated close. It was interesting to interact with her on all aspects of the upcoming books, the marketing, authors, readers and peoples expectations. The informal session over the delicious Chinese food @Chopsticks turned out to be an exciting, memorable day.  There was a surprise too and that remains a secret till the mission is achieved.     🙂

S. V. Divvaakar, is an alumnus of the IIT Delhi.  He is an international Monitoring and Evaluation specialist and  also serves on the boards of a few international companies. His first book was  ‘The Winner’s Price’.  The Second book is as below…. Beaten by Bhagath! A tale of Two Writers. Apart from writing books, he takes great interest in music as well.

Another high point of such events are catching up with fellow blogger friends. It has its own charm to see the faces behind the writings that you have read, admired or disagreed to. Hope to see everyone more often. Until then, we shall continue to rant and comment on our virtual spaces… blessed places…  ðŸ˜‰

Another beautiful page of experience added to my bloggers dairy!!!   Thanx Divaakar Sir, Dinesh and Shorya from the Creativa India team for inviting me and organizing it all so well.

Happy Reading!!! Happy Blogging !!!

🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

P.S. The food at Chopsticks, Asiad village, New Delhi was very good. If you savor Chinese food, then it is a must try for you.
