Coloris Journey of a Soul

My journey began as a progeny to the wonderful beings on Earth,

I knocked at their doors in pink and white ensemble called body,

I saw her weak smile, my mother, amidst the pool of red,

My father’s face lit as bright as gold,

They had not enough to celebrate my arrival in coins of silver,

But filled my life with abundance of colors

My father’s unconditional love had bright and warm hues of a perfect palette,

My mother’s pamper had perfect blend of luxurious reds, purples and oranges,

As a teenager, my choices meandered around lavender,

Red entered my life in the form of love and marriage decorating it in lavish,

With age and years, I imbibed the virtues of subtle blue and green,

Steadily, the brown mundane life took over it and me,

In sometime, my demeanor began to reflect shades of Grey,

With the loved ones gone one by one, I turned dull yellow ,

And one day, the hazel blue eyes could see no more,

It turned all hazy in the orange day,

I could only see the ashy Black in the surroundings,

And heavenly white in the far off distance,

My soul knew its way,

It took the flight to the doors of Lord,

With the last smile and tear, it headed back where it began from.
