The summer season is all about making the most of the warm, sunny weather. What better day to visit the beach than when the brilliant sun is out and the sky is a radiant blue! Beaches are a fancy all over the world. India has lovely beaches too. Goa is home to some of the best beaches in the country and the Raj Baga Beach is the most popular. You’ll find banana boats, bumper boats and parasailing activities on this part of the sea. If you do visit Goa, you may stay at The LaLiT Golf and Spa Resort Goa located on this very shore. I had a beautiful experience last year. This luxury hotel in Goa is surrounded by the Sahyadri mountain range, is located quite close to the Talpone river and offers scenic views of the Arabian Sea, giving tourists the opportunity to experience the best in Goa without having to venture out too far. However, before you do decide to stick your toes in the coarse sand of this beach, there are few things to plan in advance to ensure a smooth sailing once you get to there. Below you’ll find a few tips to help you relax and soak up the sun in any part of the world.
A beach day is about both, playing in the water and soaking in the sun. With the climate different everywhere, you have to be prepared as per your skin. Everyone is different, but in most cases it can take as little as 15 minutes to get sun-burnt. Do apply sunscreen generously on yourself once you have besmeared the younger ones. Additionally, make it a point to reapply the sunscreen after you’ve taken a dip. It can feel like a hassle but it will go a long way towards keeping your skin protected.
Simply relaxing on the beach must be a part of your beach day itinerary. Keep the young ones entertained with beach games, sand toys and inflatable floats for some fun in the water. Adults can carry a short paperback novel or magazine to read under the shade. Beach bingo is also a popular way to keep the whole family entertained.
Brings Snacks And Stay Hydrated
You may have enjoyed a filling breakfast at one of Goa’s best hotels, but grab some snacks to keep the energy flowing throughout the day at the beach. Grab a Styrofoam cooler and load it up with snacks for the whole family as well as ample water and sodas. Sandwiches also make a quick, filling snack along with sliced fruits that are high in water content. It’s easy to get dehydrated and fatigued under the sun; these snacks will ensure your energy levels stay up.
Be Prepared For The Trip Home
Sitting in a dripping wet bathing suit is no fun, therefore be sure to pack a change of clothes for after your long day at the beach. Carry plastic grocery bags to pack wet and sandy items, but do so after you’ve squeezed the majority of the water and brushed off the sand from your clothes and belongings. Also, it doesn’t hurt to pack an extra layer, even if it’s quite warm, as air conditioning can easily bring on chills if your hair is damp, and it usually cools off after the sun has set.
Enjoy your beach holiday.
