Experiential travel stories from India and 31 other countries!

Who doesn’t want to own a house or a personal space just the way we have fancied it forever? In fact, we all nurse a dream of having a beautiful home decorated with accessories and furniture that reflects our taste and style.

But honestly, this is easier said than done. It is quite a challenge to set up a perfect home. The most difficult part is to find the perfect combination of decors or ‘just the right’ furniture and furnishings. You may go for many rounds of visits to the home stores in your city and spend sleepless nights of browsing the internet but it is not possible to get everything that you love.

I am a traveller and I love collecting souvenirs from places around the globe. In fact, I am among those who would love to travel to decorate their home. But most of the time, I can only manage to bring a small artefact to add to my collections. I can’t carry everything that I like. Back home, it is quite a hassle to arrange things from far away. Even if I order things from different places, it is not easy to take follow-ups. Also, I might want to decorate my house with decors from places where I have not even been to. Who is going to tell me about them? So my concern is that there is a dearth of one-stop solutions for all my home décor needs.

When Sandeep Sridhar and Radhika did up their home, these challenges of finding the perfect décor led Sandeep to set up Home Canvas, an online discovery platform for the best in furniture and décor. Now, it is quite interesting to learn about Home Canvas because of their experts’ curate stores, suppliers and artisans from all over the country. Like I mentioned above, it is quite difficult to identify what is the best that I would want for my house and then arranging it is an equal hassle. Home Canvas is doing a commendable job of bringing together furniture, furnishings and accessories that range from styles, materials and price – and is delivering the world of decor to your living room.

Says Sridhar, “Whether you are doing up only a room in your house or setting up a new home, we are a one-stop destination to help you discover furniture collections, find styles that resonate with your tastes and lead you on to finding products in the easiest and most convenient manner possible. We have searched the length and breadth of the country and curated the most exquisite and lust-worthy products, so you can have fun discovering perfect pieces – that you would never have been able to find before.”

  1. I totally agree with you that home decor is a big task that anybody do, it is not possible that you can get each and everything from one place you are visiting today. Good furniture is not all the thing but we need to find something that goes perfect to our home colors and settings we wish for.

It was damn interesting reading your post that people do understand the pain of decoration and believe that a home is done with so much of care and sleepless nights. It’s my great pleasure that today after 7 days I came across to this and commenting as well. Actually Manjulika you made me comment on this.

Thanks and have a blasting day!!!
